Yoga for Rowers, Paddlers, and Dragon Boaters Workshop
This workshop is perfect for those who would like to enhance their rowing and paddling abilities by increasing their flexibility, balance and to strengthen those areas of the body prone for injury; especially when portaging. The stretching and strengthening posture sequence was designed specifically with rowers and paddlers in mind. The workshop is being held in partnership with Breathe Into Motion Yoga Studios in Cambridge at 25 Milling Rd, 2nd Floor. The event will be held on May 8th starting at 1 p.m and will end at 3 p.m. The cost of the workshop is $10/person. To register call Breathe Into Motion at 519-651-2300. Canoe Courses
The paddling season is upon us and its time to think about polishing our paddling skills or improving them for an even better season. We are offering basic canoeing courses again this year and we are also offering a new ORCKA Canoe Tripping Level 2/3 course. The tripping course will be held on June 11-16. The group will start at Shade's Mills Conservation area for pre trip planning and theory, and then they are off to Algonquin Park for the practical components for the certification. Cambridge Yoga Classes
Starting February 15, I'll be teaching yoga classes at the McIntosh Loft in Churchill park. The classes are for those who are looking for a yoga fitness class to help build strength, increase flexibility, and enhance relaxation. It's hard to believe a fitness class can be relaxing, but its true. The classes are $85/person for a 10 class session. Here is the schedule:
Monday 9:30 - 11 am, 4:15 - 5:45 pm, 7:30 - 9 pm
Tuesday 11:30 - 1 pm, 1:30 - 3 pm, 6:00 - 7:15 pm, 7:30 - 9 pm
Wednesday 10:00 - 11:30 am
Thursday 9:30 - 11 am

What's New at the Wolf Den
There is a new theme to some of our canoe and sea kayaking trips this year. Yoga based trips will be offered in July and August. This is mainly to avoid the pesky biting critters looking for a blood donation! Check it out at Yoga Adventures
Also new for this year is our resort based canoe trips within Algonquin Park. I've partnered with Arowhon Pine's resort on Joe Lake to offer canoe trips where you can spend the first day at the resort, enjoying their facilities and awesome food. Leave for the trip and then return back to the resort at the end of the trip for a relaxing sauna, a hot shower, and a cozy bed. I am also looking into the possibility of having a massage therapist available to offer a massage during trips or at the end of the trips. You can add the resort option to most of our trips, just ask at the time of registration.

Algonquin Yoga Retreat July 1 - 4
We are hosting a yoga retreat at Arowhon Pine's Resort within Algonqiun park on the Canada Day long weekend. Everyone will meet at the resort at 2 pm on July 1st. If you need transportation to the retreat, arrangements can be made. Each day of the retreat will consist of early morning yoga sessions with Amber Morphy, a day outing of canoeing or hiking with Jeff Kittmer, and an evening yin yoga class with Amber. During the day outings there will be a yoga class and meditation. Everyone will also receive a relaxing massage from Shaunna Heckbert, a register massage therapist who will be in attendance. If you would like an additional massage during the retreat, it will cost an extra $70 (cash or cheque)paid to Shaunna at the time of the massage. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone!!
